The one time I had a mosquito bite on my eye I took some benadryl and motrin and then applied some ice that was wrapped in a towelon my eye with the lid closed for about 30 minutes. The motrin and ice helped take the swelling down quite a bit.

You could try taking an antihistamine and maybe wear an eye patch for a day or two until the swelling has gone down. I think especially bright sun would be irritating to an eye which is sensitive from a bite that comes from a mosquito or any other type insect.

Because you shouldn't use corticosteroids near the eye, the best bet for treatment would be an application of an ice pack and taking an antihistamine to reduce swelling. A mild pain reliever such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen will help too. If any hint of continued infection shows, seek medical treatment!

First apply ice to your eye in ten minute intervals to deter swelling. Take Benedryl and apply hydrocortisone for itching and to aid with any allergic reactions.

I see you have some good suggestions here already but I found out the hard way that if you have a mosquito bite especially on the eye or near it to not wear any cosmetics or use any hair sprays or soaps near the area or it will get worse.

If you have been bitten by a mosquito on your eye you may want to take a Benadryl or Motrin and visit a doctor to rule out any possible infection.

I would wait to see if the bump would go down instead ofputting anything on it. After a couple days i would see a doctor if it persisted.
