What shade is "dark burgundy"?

Its true that the color burgundy is already a dark shade of reddish purple. However, there are darker and lighter shades of burgundy, which depend on how much blue is mixed in. If the shade is richer and darker, chances are it has more blue than red in it.

A dark burgundy starts as the color burgundy but goes darker. If you had to make it mixing colors you would probably start with the color burgundy and add a bit of brown to make it a darker shade. If you saw that it was getting too dark you would add a little red to lighten it up.
