You will need four years at an accredited chiropractor college leading to a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. You will also need to complete two to four years of general undergraduate studies that are being used for a bachlors degree depending on which state you live in. You will then need to take the state examine to get a license.

Finding a school is easy based on a web search of chiropractic schools. Most of them want you to have a bachelors in arts or sciences before attending chiropratic school. To be a chiropractor in any state requires licensure. Each state differs slightly.

You must attend chiropractic school. There are a number of chiropractic colleges around the country. Some offer simultaneous Bachelor degree programs along with the Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Some states require both for licensing, so read up on the requirement of your state. Most chiropractic programs are four years long, but some offer accelerated studies.

Chiropractor's schools are available through many private colleges. It is a 4-6 year course of study with intense required knowledge of human anatomy and phisiology. Many chiropractor's have more actual schooling than MD (medical doctors).

There are many "accredited" collages that allow you to become a licensed chiropractor. Medical school is not required for chiropractors.
