Time Warner and by extension Bright House do not generally use routers. Instead, they will install a modem for use with cable internet, and you can supply the router. If they did use a router however, it would most likely be the Linksys brands, as they are the best for the money, feature wise.

There is not just one brand of router that you can use with Time Warner. Do some research to find out the router that best fits your budget and your needs. The main thing to remember when getting a router to use with Time Warner is that you will need a cable router not a DSL router.

You all are idiots. When you have Time Warner Cable "Wireless" they will come and install their own wireless router. The question is what type of router do they install. Not what kind are you able to install on your own!!
