Four presidents of the United States were killed or assassinated in office. They were Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield, William McKinley, and John F. Kennedy. William Harrison, Warren Harding and Franklin Roosevelt died in office, but those three presidents died of natural causes and were not killed.
