The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock has amazing imagery in it but you'd have to explain the meaning of the imagery in order to teach how the imagery works in the poem. For example the way T.S. Eliot describes fog is amazing. There is a wealth of imagery as well as other elements in this poem to teach a youngster.

Imagery poetry attempts to explain the unknowable by using images and sensations that people already understand. Some good image poems that aren't too difficult for children include "A Divine Image" by William Blake, "A Birthday" by Christina Rossetti, "A Barefoot Boy" by James Whitcomb Riley, "Fog" by Carl Sandburg, and "Christabel" by Samuel Taylor Colderidge.
