I have one, right at a year old. She's very lovable/affectionate, loyal, good watchdog, loves to run and play! incredibly stubborn, though and will do the same thing repeatedly, knowing you told her to stop. And vocal about everything.

This would be a strong, energetic dog. They are sometimes stubborn and need a strong owner. This dog would need a lot of attention and exercise. You would need to train it to correct any bad behavior before it becomes a habit. It is a wonderful house pet.

It really depends on the dog. I have one of those and it's very shy but I've seen some that are much more active and social. Hope that this helps.
