It all depends on what kind of look you are going for. Cotton tends to be the most comfortable, but you can choose anything you want to add style.

Cotton is probably going to be your best choice. One it's much more comfortable, especially in warm months. There are a lot more choices in colors and patterns as well. Be sure to preshrink the material before you cut out the pattern pieces. Jo-Ann Fabrics usually has some good sales on holiday weekends.
