It does not have to sell any exact amount to be a major brand. To be a major brand, you have to have a large percent of the capital in any one particular industry.

There are no specific answers, but, generally speaking, a major brand is a national or international brand--available in most parts of the country or the world. A noticeable percentage of the general or target population of consumers should be aware of the brand. The brand should also have at least 10% of the market for the applicable type of producet
