Is the Pula airport a major airport, or is there a bigger one in Croatia?

No the biggest airport in Croatia is the Pula Airport. They are in the process of upgrating to be able to handle more passengers at the time. Hope you have a great trip.

Pula is not really a major airport. With 295.345 a year it is ten times smaller than the main airport of Croatia Zagreb (ZAG). Airport Split (SPU)and Dubrovnik are also major airports. As Croatia is not a big country the chosen airport is not that important. I recommend to rent a car.
