What makes a good cheap centerpiece for weddings?

I need to decorate a wedding on a budget.

My sister bought some inexpensive glass jars and filled them with pieces of glass and stone that matched her wedding colors. She then filled them with water and put floating candles on top. It looked really classy and beautiful, but cost very little.

You can purchase pretty candles at the Dollar store. Put together a small center piece with candles of various sizes. You can use the bridesmaid's bouquets as center pieces. Also, consider seasonal produce: watermelons, pumpkins, etc. Be creative!
