many different types of pests will invade ficus but the most deadly would be the white flie they will sworm the plant until not one leaf is intact. some other pests include scales, mealyworm, bagworms, although many of these pests can damage ficus it is still concidered one of the easier plants to care for

Well, tiny probes and scale insects such as ants are attracted to a ficus. If you are concerned, you may want to get a hold of horticultural oils which can be used to protect your plant. I know it is very alarming. It is hard to tell if there are any insects on the ficus due to nature of size.

An insect called scale is attracted to ficus. A good way to get rid of it is to buy laddy bugs and put them on your tree.
