A diagram of a mitochondrion should show these parts: inner and outer membrane, DNA, ATP synthase particles, matrix, inner membrane space, cristae,ribosome and granules.
You need to include a circular double stranded DNA molecule, such as those found in bacteria. You also need to include a set of folded membranes to take up much of the room. You also need to draw in small ribosomes inside the mitochondrion, also similar to those found in bacteria.
