Typically the boutique will handle dressing the bride and all other females, occasionally the males too, in the wedding party. Some may handle bouquets but many only handle the clothing.

There is no one rule of thumb about the services that any particular bridal boutique offers. However, bridal boutiques traditionally do not offer wedding planning services, but instead offer wedding apparel such as bride, bridesmaid, flower girl and mother of the bride gowns and accessories and possibly men's tuxedos as well as wedding accessories such as ring bearer pillows.

It depends on the boutique, the lady that owned the wedding boutique near my home was like a wedding planner for me. She helped me do everything from dress to cake to bridal party line-up.
