You will have jaw and gum pain. The root of the old tooth will be removed so that won't hurt you at all.

Just common soreness, maybe some swelling is all that you should expect after having implants done. It is surgery so you can expect to be down for a few days.

Teeth Implant Surgery is quite painful in the recovery stages. You are probably going to have bad pain for the first few days. After that you may have jaw discomfort for up to two weeks. Your doctor should prescribe you with some pain medication. If he doesn't ask him to write you up a prescription.

Normally after having dental implant surgery in one stage or multiple stages, some may experience discomforts associated with surgery. These include swelling and bruising of the gums and face of the affected side, pain at the site of implantation and minor bleeding which may continue for 2-3 days. If swelling or discomfort persists consult a dentist immediately.
