What kind of oil does a push lawn mower require?

Almost all push mowers require 30 weight non detergent motor oil. There are some that have 2 stroke engines that require mixing the oil with the gas in which case any premium 2 stroke oil will suffice.

Most all small engines require a basic weight oil of 10w-30. If it is a new mower you need to use what is factory recommended or you will void warranty

Any good quality straight non detergent 30W oil will work. 10W30 will work fine but 5W30 is a bit too thin for summer use. Most take about 20 ounces of oil.

Most lawn mowers require two cycle oil or four cycle oil. The best thing to do is drain the oil before winter and after winter put new oil in it.

It should say in the manual. If you don't have that, most Briggs and Stratton engines take regular 10w40. The oil weight doesn't matter as much as just having oil in it. If you've got some 10w30 lying around, you could use that. It's also okay to mix different weights, just don't mix petroleum oil with synthetic.

a push lawnmower should get grease oil like used on big garage gates at a detail shop, but if you need a temporary solution wb-40 is a good temporary oil to use and reliable if you take proper care

well the lawn mower required the gas oil for starting and cleaning oil for cleaning . the lawn mower used to much oil .
