A dodge neon has a 2.0 litre four cylinder engine, if it is a 1995 to 2005 car, and it has a Cast iron block, and can either be SOHC, or DOHC.It puts out 132 horsepower for the SOHC, and 150 horsepower for the DOHC version. it is a fairly reliable engine.

There are races for all kind of cars so you can race it. Something like SCCA may be a good option. Most Neons have a Dodge engine while some run a Mitsubishi designed one. The srt-4 models had either a turbo or supercharged Dodge engine.
