This varies and depends on the type of tires and engine you are currently running in your F150. Check your rotors also. This is a fairly difficult repair, if you consider yourself a novice i would recommend either consulting your car manual, or seeking the help of a licensed mechanic to-be safe.

Go to the parts store tell them what you want they will look it up on the computer and they will give you what you need.

Call around to some of the auto parts store in your area and they can tell you what kind you need for your model. The regular brakes will be cheaper. Big trailers will need ceramic pads.

Most of the time the standard brake pads (the cheapest) will work. It really depends on what you haul or pull. Heavy loads, big trailers would need ceramic pads.
