What kind of bedding do you need for a girl?

It depends on what the girl likes! Traditional pinks and blues for not-so-subtle gender role assignment are elements of the PAST. Any color SHE likes is fine!

For any child, you want bedding that will grow with them. Sheets can stay neutral - whites and creams will be easy to match. Accentuate with a comforter and pillows that are her favorite color. She can also change these when her tastes change.

Girls and boys both require the same bedding. A mattress, a plastic sheet if bed wetting is an issue, a sheet, a pillow and washable pillow case, a duvet and duvet cover or alternatively a number of blankets and an under sheet (to prevent itching from blankets).
