What is your opinion of Ludwig drums?

Ludwig drums are very good starter drums. They are well built and reliable. They will also give your son something to grow into, as Ludwig has alot of compatible accessories.

Ludwig is a great company,known for quality.I pesonally recommened this company for any drumming needs.They make and sell the best drums for the price.Thier drumkits are durable and that's what you need for young drummers,who may want to hit them harder than needed.They will hold up to reasonable punishment.

I think their great but also over priced. So basically try to find them for cheap and if your son is into them then get it for him

It's not a good option for a starting drummer. Although they make excellent drums, I find that beginners have a real hard time with them.
