What is wrong if I have vertical lines on my plasma TV?

One, or more, of your plasma tubes has gone out. This is caused usually by just normal wear and tear on the TV. If they aren't bothering you, I wouldn't worry about them but if it is a bother you will need to replace the entire TV. No repairman can replace just one of the tubes.

Main reasons either can be a bad LCD panel that will need replacing or the plasma TV may have a bad ribbon cable connection.

Your plasma television set may have some mechanical dysfunction on the inside. You may need to call a television repair man to take care of it. There may also be something wrong with the wiring on your set.

Assuming this is happening on all channels, then you definately have a signal problem. Check all connections coming into the house. If not connections, you have a bad cicuit board.
