Bacically venous stasis means that the blood flow in the body is slowed down which could be due to hypercoagulability of blood that is blood is more viscous. This could lead to thrombosis (clots) anywhere in the body. Bacically anticoagulants could be given. If the patient is on bed then bilateral stalkings could be put.

Venous stasis is a loss of function of the veins in the legs that carry blood back to the heart. It can cause several other health concerns in the body. Venous stasis will cause swelling in the feet and legs. The most common solutions for this is rest, elevation and using compression stockings to help with blood flow.
