Rubber wristbands signify loyalty to the name of the team, social organization, actor or famous personality whose name appears on the wristband. As with most teens, they want everyone to know who they are and wearing a wristband that has one of their interests labeled on it helps with this.

To most kids they are just a fun colored bracelet. But in some circles the colors mean how far a girl is willing to go with a boy.
