This is an international rugby union competition started annually by Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Organized by SANZAR, a consortium of three countries' rugby governing bodies, these three teams have dominated international rankings in recent years. The Tri Nations is the toughest rugby league to date. Soon to be four nations in 2012 with Argentina added to the mix.

I am not a big rugby fan but I believe the Tri Nations Rugby is an event that takes place between rugby powers South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. This tournament is thought to be the best type and competition of rugby that a spectator can find all around the world today.

Starting in 2012, Argentina will most likely be allowed to compete in the event as well.
