The value of an 1808 penny in AG-3 (about good) condition is about 27 dollars. Additonally, the value of an 1808 penny in EF-40 (extremely fine) condition is about 1,600 dollars. The value of an 1808 penny will depend largely on whether it has ever been cleaned as well as how old it is.

This is a valuable coin and in it's case it doesn't have to be perfect to make some money by selling it. It very, very mint condition, you might be able to earn 250.00 to 300.00 for it. If the condition is worn and not very good, you might still fetch 75.00 or so.
