The company that owns Tahiti Village timeshares oversells the properties. Generally offering a free hotel stay if you'll come listen to their pitch, they sell you "luxury" timeshares that are fare beyond the value, and then refuse to follow the contract to release people.

We bought into the Moorea(small unit) every other year for $13,000. We bought only because we could be VIP owners and use the vacation travel service 12 weeks a year for $200. per week at any of their 5 star hotels per the salesman. It's really $200. to $1300per week.

Tahiti village is a timeshare company that is offering free stays if you sit through a presentation about buying into their timeshare. Many timeshares do this, but it is important to realize that the presentation is extremely high pressure. There is a good chance you may end up buying into a timeshare you do not desire.

In Las Vegas, there is a three day contract rule. If you are pressured into buying a timeshare, you have three days to cancel the contract in writing. I suggest you mail your cancellation with delivery confirmation and certified mail. If they refuse to let you out, don't pay it.  add a comment
