Florida, like any other state, works with all other states in the U.S. to return criminals to the jurisdiction where their cases are being heard. Florida communicates with law enforcement in the corresponding state to assure that the matter is in order concerning the individual to be extradited, then arrangements are made between the two states to return the party.
Is there a limit to the length of time the extraditing state has to come get the person? How long, by law can Florida hold someone? The judge said 10 days from the day he went to his extradition hearing? add a comment
