The pineal gland is the body's smallest organ. It is part of the epithalamus and is about 8mm across (in the human body). It is located above the superior colliculus and behind and beneath the stria medullaris, between the laterally positioned thalamic bodies.

The pineal gland is usually considered the smallest organ. This organ is sometimes called the third eye and is located in the brain. This organ produces melatonin which is a hormone that has to do with your wake/sleep cycle.

If you are speaking of functional organs, excluding glands, would be the gallbladder. If glands are included probably the pineal gland. Of course the building blocks of all organs is the cell, but they are not scientifically classified as organs. The skin is considered the largest organ, if that might be helpful as well.
