The role includes the creation of employment that reduces crime and endeavors to provide the basic needs to thousands of families in the society, in addition to generating revenue for the government in form of taxation. The corporate power impacts on democracy of the society through dictating the levels of education and participation to politics; both positively and negatively

Big business operates in a free enterprise system. A democratic society is one in which the people have a say in the government. While business can and does contribute in myriad ways (charity, taxes, philanthropy), government and business are separate, despite what the Obama and the libtards are pushing.

Big business theoretically has no role in a democratic society, only individuals and groups of individuals. However, businesses can raise money to lobby for legal protections from competing imports, special tax breaks, or levies on competitors. This leads to business seeking favors from government and funding democratic movements.
