The Rocky Mountains are located in the western part of the United States and Canada. The northernmost part of the mountain range is in British Columbia, Canada, and the range extends southward past Alberta to the United States into Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado before ending at northern New Mexico.
