A PSA (prostate-specific antigen) is a protein produced by the prostate gland cells. Elevated levels of PSA are an indication of prostate cancer. The test has nothing to do with alcohol (consumption, blood level, liver damage, etc.)

PSA test is a home test kit for identifying prostate symptoms. PSA or prostrate-specific antigen is released into the blood stream. Alcohol should not be taken when using the test.

There is no direct, researched correlation between alcohol consumption and predicted results of a PSA test. It could perhaps be assumed that alcoholics have a more frequent incident of a positive PSA due to a lack of self-care and healthy lifestyle, but there is no evidence that makes it anything more than as assumption.

Psa test is done with urine sample and alcohol test is done with blood samples. Psa abnormalities determine the damage in the prostate glands. Normal Psa value is 4. An alcholist can be identified by his blood samples which will show toxicity in the bloos streams. His consious test will also be abnormal.

Consumtion of red wine will reduce the risk of prostate cancer. However, heavy consumption of alcohol shows increasing the risk of cancer. A person will be very healthy upto 40 years of age. Thereafter, their life is at risk incase they do not change their life style.
