I believe that dizziness is primarily a feeling of vertigo or a spinning sensation you feel in your head. Nausea is that same feeling throughout your gastrointestinal area. I think it is possible to feel them together as well as separately, but it has been my experience that dizziness often precedes and/or follows nausea.

Many patients experience dizziness and nausea together. Depending on the cause, this could be due to vertigo, problems with neurological or nervous systems and simple fatigue or dehydration. Loss of blood will also cause the both; typically individuals notice nausea first and as the body reacts to the site of the proble, oxygen to the brain is limited, causing dizziness.

I know when I am dizzy I am also nausea. Myself I think that it's a virus or something that is not just right in your system. Laying down and drinking plenty of fluids works for me.
