The baby should be drinking a full 8 oz bottle at this age. If the baby is still hungry tell the doctor, maybe he need to eat more ofter or start on foods.

It actually can be according to your baby's hunger. Normal recommended bottle amount in 200 ml for 5 month old. This cannot be enough for some kids, especially boys. Childmaynot feel full, but stick to this amount, and keep 3 hours interval between each food.

I would ask your doctor. But as a general guide I would let the baby guide the feedings. If he is hungry, let him eat, babies dont really over eat, they will stop when they are full.

The recommended amount of formula or breast milk for your bottle will vary depending on if your child was full term, his or her size and how much you have been feeding them. For the most part a child at that age should take an 8 oz bottle at all feedings.
