Shakespeare's quote... Falstaff: I will not lend thee a penny. Pistol: Why then the world's mine oyster, Which I with sword will open. Falstaff: Not a penny. The Merry Wives Of Windsor Act 2, scene 2 And Oscar Wilde's... "The world was my oyster but I used the wrong fork"

The quote, "world's my oyster" originated in William Shakespeares work, The Merry Wives of Windsor. It goes like this: Why, then the world's mine oyster, Which I with sword will open. It basically means that the worlds riches are yours to be plucked from the shell!
