Gerbers like to be slightly pot-bound in well-draining soil. Gerbers need full sun to reach their best flowering potential. Remove dead flowers to promote further flowers. A week liquid fertilizer is suggested every 2 weeks in the summer. The optimal temperature is about 75 degrees. Freezing will kill the plant.

Gerber Daisies requires well-drained soil or its advisable to use high quality peat based potting soil and lot of sunlight. It should be fed once in every week with a water-soluble fertilizer such as Bachman's. Removing faded flowers and their stems and they no need of any grooming.

These types of rare plant would boom in 4-6 weeks period. It is mainly a house plant of decorative purpose. It has to be given proper care in its growing stage. It has kept near sunny window and has to be watered when the soil is dry.

Gerber daises should be watered daily in the early hours. Overhead watering should be avoided and they should be sprayed for protection against whitefly pests. They should be fertilized regularly.
