Food passes from the oral cavity into the stomach through the esophagus. The stomach empties into the duodenum - the beginning of the small intestine. The digested food then passes through the jejunum and ileum on the way to the large intestine. Waste then exits through the rectum and anus.

After swallowing, food passes through the esophagusuntil it reaches the stomach, where it is mixed with a digestive juice. After spending about 2 hours in the stomach, food is then pushed into the small intestines. Eventually it enters the Large intestines, which leads to the rectum. When it is appropriate, it is expelled outside the body through the anus.

Food goes in the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestines, large intestines, and then back out. So bread you eat in the morning will not be found in your blood.
