The rim of the basket is exactly ten feet from the playing surface. This is the same as college and professional. The court dimensions for high school basketball is 84 feet long and 50 feet wide. College and professional basketball courts are 94 feet long and 50 feet wide. Junior high is 74 long and 42 wide.
