In 1972 Great Britain changed it's money system. 1 pound is subdivided to 100 (new) pence. Before 12 Pence were 1 shilling and 20 shillings were 1 pound.

The 10 pence is a British coin. The new 10 pence came out after 1991 and this 10 pence must be in mint condition to be worth much money to anyone.
