For all dogs the gestation period is roughly 9 weeks or 63 days. All dogs are different though and some have litters earlier and some have litters a little later. The gestation period is not different for smaller dogs or bigger dogs since the puppies are produced in much the same way. Only the number of puppies is usually different.
