As far as I know the ps3 is the newest system, but xbox 360 is now working with kinect. Kinect is a motion sensor that makes the controller obsolete.

The newest video game systems according to Wikipedia are the Xbox 360 slim, the Zone 40 by Sega, and the GameSystem by CUBE Design, and all are listed for 2010.

The Playstation 3 has some great games, and so does the xBox, Wii, DSI, and PSP. PS3 has many good, realistic games like Final Fantasy 13. xBox has many combat games, Wii has very active games, DSI has very casual games, and PSP is a mix of everything put together.

The two most popular systems are the PS3 and Xbox 360. I think the PS3 is the one to go with because of it's massive game library and it's features.
