Remember this is quite extensive. Putting the motor itself in isnt too bad but all the wiring is what takes a long time. You will be looking at about $70. 00 an hour. Itt will take about 6 to 7 hours. That makes it about $420 to $490. Give or take maybe $80.

You should get many estimates but it is going to be about 600 at a minimum to install a new engine.

I called three different shops in my area. The highest price was 1250 and the lowest price was 850 plus they also said it depends on if you need anything extract it would be more.

Areasonable rate would be based on an hourly wage of anywhere from $50 and hour up to $90 an hour for labor. The job could take up to 60 hours.
