Italian inventor Bartolomeo Cristofor was the first to be successful at creating what is now known as the piano around 1720-he was the first to succeed at improving the harpsichord.

Bartolomeo Cristofori was the inventor of Piano and he had some great experience with stringed instruments and he was the keeper of instruments so thats why he had some knowledge about intruments while taking care of them. But its not clear when exactly he invented the frist piano but it was in 1700s.
