Basically the formula is the same for any currency where the value of pounds is equal to the number of euros times the current conversion rate. The conversion rate changes daily so there isn't a generally usable rule.

It depends on the current exchange rate. As of today (Friday, May 7, 2010) 1 Euro = 0.860863 Great Britain Pounds. So, multiply the amount of euros you have by 0.860863. eg. 50 euros = 50 x 0.860863 = 43.04315 Great Britain Pounds (Round it to 43.04 Great Britain Pounds).
