Around 16 to 17yrs of age. As the four 3rd molars(wisdom teeth) come in around the age of 17 (age range of 15-25).

The wisdom teeth cannot be removed before they first form. They typically start to form between the ages of 10 and 15. They should be removed when they are closer to the gum line to reduce the severity of the surgery but before they push other teeth out of alignment.

You should be able to have your wisdom teeth removed at any age. The timing is really more dependent on how fast they grow in and what the exact conditions are. Most people have their wisdom's fully grown in by their mid-late twenties, and it's usually dealt with as soon as possible so it doesn't cause damage to the teeth/jaw.

Wisdom teeth shouldn't be removed until second molars (teeth in front of them) reach their final position in the mouth at the age 12-13. Plus the exact position of developping wisdom teeth in the jaw bone can only be seen on an x-ray if the crown starts to calcificate, which starts at age 12-13.
