The nausea and vomiting you have heard about are not from the wisdom teeth surgery, but instead from a reaction to the anesthesia. You won't have this problem unless you have a problem with anesthesia. However, the after affects many hours after the surgery are the hard part. To make it the best possible outcome follow the doctor's instructions exactly.

Most of the time you should not have any nausea and vomiting after getting your wisdom teeth removed. If you do have the nausea it is probably from the pain medicine that your dentist prescribed to you to take before you had the surgery. You should not have any problems.

It all depends on what kind of medication you are given and how you react to it. If you had previously had surgery and anesthetic gives you nausea and vomiting, you probably will have to deal with it somewhat.

Generally there will be nausea effect, but you will not have any vomiting feeling for this. I would suggest eat as much ice cream as possible in order to have comfortness. However the effect of nausea will be there for only one day.

There could be nausea and vomiting after your wisdom teeth surgery especially if you are being put to sleep as the medications can mess with your body. If you do become sick I would talk to your dentist to see if there is anything you can take to reduce this.

The worst possible scenario is there will be immediate swelling of the affected side after surgery followed by reduced mouth opening. Nausea and vomiting is seen in some cases. Avoid speaking and take complete rest after surgery.
