Topps traded baseball cards came out in the second half of the season. The traded set included baseball players that were "traded" and or "rookies" that made an impact on the season. Usually the traded baseball card of the player was not in the regular set. While the Tiffany set is simply a high glossy card of All-Star players!

Unlike the regular Topps trading cards, Topps Tiffany sets include white cardboard and a glossy finish. At the time, gray cardboard was normal. The sets were printed in Ireland between 1984 and 1991. The actual card information was apparently identical to regular Topps releases for those years.

Regular-issue Topps and Topps Tiffany differ in two ways. Tiffany cards have a glossy front and only came in factory-set form, hence the name 'Tiffany'.
