"dual channel" is a property of the ram memory and "ddr2" is a type of ram memory. Dual channel means that you can you use two sticks of ram that are the same and the speed of the rams is doubled.

DDR2 dual channel RAM involves the transfer of data between 2 sticks of RAM. It is supposedly better, but it really makes no difference, benchmarks prove it.
