secondary case is called as the occuring of a disease due to close contacts of a primary case-patient 24 hours after onset of illness in the primary case. Secondary case is the next stage to the primary case. Many diseases will be caused due to spreading of infections from one person to another.

Secondary class is in essence the tier below the more privileged first class, for example the secondary class in society is the people with less rights or opportunities.
