What is the cost of running a fan non stop?

My husband refuses to turn the ceiling fan off, he says it does not cost that much and I do not believe him.

Electricity costs an average of 7 cents per kilowatt hour, and even a powerful ceiling fan uses only 1/10 of this. In 24 hours that's about 17 cents.

Most fans will have a cost rating on the packaging them came with. You can find this information online with make and model. My fan cost 3 cents per hour.
