It is suggested that you can change or transform your health in 21 days. If you change your diet and exercise you can reverse high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Our life styles change due to our current situations. This can often change our healthcare. For instance, someone might not have as much time to take care of themselves as they did when they were single and was not a dad or mom.

When I think about change theory, I think about the various ways that I can change myself. For example, my own healthcare provider has a policy of only allowing people with REAL injuries to be healed. Nonsense! I think I should be allowed to get medical attention for unchanging, non-medical emergencies. Like breathing.

Change theory helps nurses (for example) move from an established way of doing things to a new and more efficient way. One theory involves three stages: unfreezing, moving and refreezing.
